Plywood crates

Plywood crates are high-performance packaging, consisting of a wooden base and a wooden frame and plywood panels (OSB or multi-layer) on the side and upper covering.

Plywood crates are fully enclosed packaging, which offers excellent protection against weathering or accidental damage and, compared to laid alongside or tapped wooden crates, provide significant cost savings.

Versatile and resistant, they are suitable for containing all types of goods and artefacts. Thanks to the plywood panels, from 1 cm to 1.3 cm thick, plywood crates guarantee dynamic and efficient solutions, with even high load capacities.

They are suitable for all types of transport; in case of shipment by air, they are equipped with inspection windows for the vision of the contents.

There is the chance to adjust them to any dimensions, as a cointainer shape or oversize.

DIMENSIONS: custom design, no limitations

MATERIAL: wood and plywood (OSB or multilayer) from certified supply chains, in compliance with the HT ISPM 15 IPPC FAO standards.

ACCESSORIES: 

• under the base of the plywood box, iron plates can be bolted in order to facilitate the extraction of the goods at destination.

• the lid can be covered with white polyethylene, BOLD 400 micron polyethylene or galvanized sheet metal.

USE: suitable for all types of transport.

PRODUCTION

Our packaging can be made in Transpack operating centres, in the Customer’s factory or at the Customer’s suppliers.

TRANSPORT

We can carry out any kind of goods handling activity and we dispose of a Project – Cargo division, able to manage the packing and transport operations of out-of-shape loads.

CONTAINER STOWAGE – VGM WEIGHING – SHIPMENTS

We carry out inserting and clamping operations on materials / complete plants or parts of them, in order to allow a safe transport to their destination.

Our centres are structured to handle goods of important dimensions and weights, allowing the management of the unloading and final loading phases on any type of vehicle.

We also offer the possibility to weigh the goods through certified scales and we issue the official VGM documentation (method 2).

STORAGE – BONDED WAREHOUSING

We offer wide spaces for the storage of goods, even in the long term. Transpack, moreover, is an A&O certified operator, with the possibility to manage the goods in the warehouse through a bonded warehouse.

The Transpack bonded warehouse has an area of about 40,000 square meters (18,000 square meters covered) and allows the management of third-party goods, keeping them in a foreign state until customs clearance.
