The bonded warehouse in Noventa di Piave is a positive example of collaboration between Transpack and Cesped. The integration of the respective services has allowed the start-up of the warehouse with the non-EU isolators suppliers of General Electric, managing the operations from the Port to the Ex Caramel Warehouse, plus customs processing according to the customer needs.

The use of our bonded warehouse allows General Electric suppliers greater flexibility in the orders management and increase the efficiency of the cash flows relating to the management of import duties / VAT.

Cesped operates directly on the transfer of the container from the Port to the warehouse and Terminal 1. Thanks to the support of Lorena Dal Gobbo, Custom Manager Cesped, we actively carry out the in / out operations. In the plant with Marco Bellesso, instead, we coordinate all the support activities.

Thanks to the positive experience with General Electric, Transpack is able to develop bonded warehouse activities also on other customers. In the case of non – EU suppliers of raw materials or semi-finished products with high exposures to Duties & VAT, we can start similar projects, offering a tailor-made service and full support for the business of the client.

The Transpack customs warehouse occupies an area of approximately 40,000 square meters – with a covered area of 18,000 square meters – and allows the management of third-party goods, keeping them in a foreign country up to the time of clearance through customs. A solution, therefore, that obviates the negative cash flow caused by immediate payments of customs duties and VAT, as an indispensable requirement for goods import, stocking and distribution.
