Transpack Group implements its own presence on the territory with a new logistics hub located in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), an area of ​​great industrial past which it’s rapidly redeveloping, thanks to the continuous investments of the latest years. The factory has a covered area of ​​approximately 7.000 sqm which will contain both a new logistics and production center under the control of Transpack / Flay Logistics, and a design center dedicated to Nesite interior solutions, in order to become a reference point for the whole Group.

The center will immediately take place for GE Grid Solutions, which has chosen to transfer all the production, packaging and warehousing activities on-site, thus continuing the ten-year collaboration begun with the bonded warehouse in Noventa di Piave.

Being complex logistic processes, the hub has already been equipped with:
• an area with shelving capable to support around 1,000 pallets, where picking will take place exclusively with reach truck;
• an area with cantilever, dedicated to the storage of pipes;
• various areas dedicated to the storage of bulky materials

Thanks to its regular layout and the presence of 5 cranes, the building is also ideal for handling and packing any type of material.

The hub in Sesto San Giovanni will however have a multi-customer approach and will be a reference point for the logistics of current and future customers in Northern Italy.

The new logistics center is located in Viale Edison, 50 – Sesto San Giovanni (MI).
